📦 First Steps (Upon Arrival)

  • Inspect the packaging and device for any visible transit damage.

  • Power on the device and verify model & IMEI (Settings → General → About).

  • Record your IMEI for warranty or support claims.

  • Always back up personal data and sign out of accounts before returning a device.
    Remove SIM & memory cards and perform a factory reset before shipping.

  • Use a protective case and screen protector to prevent accidental damage.

  • Avoid extreme temperatures — don’t leave your phone in hot cars or direct sunlight.

  • Keep liquids away — even water-resistant phones have limits.

  • Use original or certified chargers only; cheap chargers can damage the battery.

Lithium-ion batteries naturally age, but daily habits can extend their lifespan.

Best practices:

  • Avoid frequent 0% or 100% charge extremes.

  • Keep charge between 20%–80% whenever possible.

  • Use “Optimized Charging” or “Battery Saver” features.

  • For long storage, keep the battery around 50% charged.

Daily:

Review your battery health in the settings, clear cache or unused apps, and inspect the charging ports for dust or debris.

Yearly:
Consider a professional battery check or replacement if you notice a significant drop in capacity or performance.
